Frequently asked questions

Common questions about partnering

Wavebrook partners with mobile network operators, telecommunications companies, research institutions, analytics firms, and enterprises seeking real-world mobile connectivity insights.

Wavebrook's SDK collects data on a pseudonymous, per-device basis (a rotating identifier — never a name, email, or phone number) and only after explicit end-user consent through the publisher's consent management platform. The SDK does not collect data until that consent is in place. Wavebrook acts as a joint controller with each publisher and each activated partner under Article 26 UK GDPR, and the framework is documented in our Privacy Policy and Partners page. Compliance with UK GDPR and alignment with CCPA principles is built into every step.

Partners receive per-device pseudonymous measurements — network coverage, speed, latency, signal strength, approximate or precise location (subject to permission), device model, and operator — at the granularity needed to do their own analytics. Partners then aggregate the measurements across regions, operators, devices and technologies on their side to produce coverage maps and benchmarks. Each partner is a joint controller under Article 26 UK GDPR and is bound by an executed Joint Controller Arrangement.

There's no upfront cost to join the programme. Partnerships are structured around mutual value — typically through revenue share, subscription or a custom enterprise agreement, depending on your use case.

Most partners are fully integrated and receiving data within 2–4 weeks. We provide a dedicated technical contact, API documentation and onboarding support throughout.
